Hopkinsville Rotary Auction Tops $300,000, Headed Toward Finish

The Hopkinsville Rotary Club’s 74th Annual Auction topped the $320,000 mark Thursday night as the auction heads into the final two nights.

Hopkinsville Rotary auction Chairman Kelly Gates says 111 items were sold Thursday night for $16,172. She adds the Diner and sweet shop brought in $6610.02, and the Hour and Goat Club raised $27,900. The total for thursday night was 43,851.02, which helped push the auction total to $321,024.75.

During an appearance on WHVO’s Hoptown this Morning Gates invited listeners to bid on several nice items on the big board.
