Two Area School Districts Remain Out For Winter Weather

With varying road conditions around the region, some school districts are heading back to class with others taking another day to allow roads to clear.

Christian County Schools and Todd County Schools will both utilize NTI days on this Monday as students will stay home again. Meanwhile, Trigg County and Caldwell County Schools will report to class on the regular schedule today.

School districts around Western Kentucky were out all of last week following a round snow and bitter cold temperatures Sunday and Monday, and a second round of freezing rain and snow Thursday afternoon and Friday morning.

School districts in Kentucky are allowed up to 10 non-traditional instruction or NTI days each school year. So far this school year Christian County has utilized six days, Trigg County four days, and five for Todd County.
