Few Improvement Noted On Secondary Roads

Main thoroughfares around Western Kentucky and northern Tennessee are in good condition, with some isolated spots of black and ice snow, with secondary roads still ice and snow covered in many locations.

Roadways such as I-24, the Breathitt Parkway, U.S. 68, the Fort Campbell Boulevard, and others are in fair condition, but do have some isolated patches of black ice and snow. Most secondary roads have a coating snow and ice on them that is causing driving to be hazardous.

City, county, and state road crews will be fighting extremely cold temperatures today to spread salt and clear snow and ice from the roadways.
