Campgrounds located within the bounds of Land Between the Lakes will be shut down if the federal government does not come to an agreement on the FY2024 spending agreement on Saturday night.
The Hillman Ferry Campground, located near Grand Rivers, shared Saturday that everyone due out Sunday will have to check out, with everyone else expected to leave the campground by 3:30 Monday afternoon.
Campground officials said refunds will be given and seasonal campers will have the option to leave everything on the premises but they will not be allowed to remain in campground at their campers.
