A year after having to cancel its planned activities of youth missions and community service, Camp Cadiz received a critical lift Tuesday afternoon — when the Cadiz Rotary Club unanimously approved a $10,000 gift for the 2021 program.
Set to take place from June 21-24, more than 80 kids — under guided supervision — will be turning good deeds all around Trigg County for those most in need.
As of June 2, organizers still needed a few adults to supervise five-to-six students who will be preparing meals for several community members. Visit “Camp Cadiz” on Facebook for more information.
