Heritage Christian Continuing Virtual Classes

Heritage Christian Academy will continue with virtual instruction.

HCA officials announced last week the school would resume regular classes on Monday, December7. Officials announced Sunday afternoon the school will continue virtual. They also noted the only way the school will resume in-person classes is if the United States Supreme Court were to rule in favor of private Christian schools returning to class.

Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron asked the Supreme Court to rule on the issue after the sixth U. S. Court of Appeals overrode a federal judge’s decision to allow Christian Schools to return to class. Christian schools had challenged Governor Andy Beshear’s November order requiring virtual school due to high COVID-19 case numbers.
