Police have released the name of a motorcyclist injured in a crash on Eagle Way, at the intersection of Pembroke Road, Saturday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say an eastbound motorcycle on Eagle Way driven by 64-year-old Charles Koonse of Austin, Texas, failed to stop at a red light and hit the side of a northbound truck driven by 30-year-old Brandi Cherry of Cottonwood, Tennessee that was on Pembroke Road.
Police say Koonse was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for lacerations to his arms and legs. Cherry also had a cut on her leg but didn’t want any treatment.
The crash happened just before 5 pm.
