The Fredonia Lions Club says they will not sponsor the Fredonia Summer Festival this year.
According to a post on social media, the club has decided to cancel the festival that was scheduled for August 8 due to COVID-19 Pandemic. This will be the first time the club will not hold the festival in the 56-year history of the event.
The Fredonia Lions Club says since the festival is the main fundraiser for the organization each year, they will likely hold other fundraisers later in the year if possible.
