The State of Kentucky announced Thursday afternoon that area residents can make appointments for in-person unemployment insurance services that will be offered next week in Hopkinsville.
The Commonwealth Labor Cabinet says people can schedule appointments for July 7 and July 8 between the hours of 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. The in-person event will take place at Christian County Middle School located at 215 Glass Avenue.
Claimants must bring two forms of identification, like a driver’s license or other photo ID and a social security card for identity verification. Appointments can be made by clicking here.
Any resident who needs additional assistance with their unemployment insurance claims can call (502) 564-2900. The labor cabinet says 90% of claims have been processed and more than $2.7 billion has been paid out since March.
