The attorney for the man accused of assaulting a female juvenile on a church bus in 2019 says it is possible a resolution could be reached in the case.
Tyler Frances appeared in Christian Circuit before Judge John Atkins Thursday morning. Frances’ attorney Sands Chewning said a psychological evaluation has been completed for his client.
Judge Atkins scheduled a follow-up hearing for August 5.
Frances, who was scheduled to be on trial this week, was arrested and charged with sexual abuse first degree after he allegedly touched a juvenile inappropriately when they were riding on a church bus in 2019.
