The Cadiz Public Works Department hosted a car wash fundraiser Friday to support the Trigg County High School Special Olympics team.
Public Works Director Kerry Fowler tells the News Edge they decided to help the club by hosting the first wash in 2018.

He adds the students get to participate in several sports.
Fowler thanks everyone who helped make the fundraiser a success including the Trigg County High School Intersession group and Trigg County Jailer James Hughes and inmates from Christian County Jail who helped wash vehicles.Fowler will present a check to the Special Olympics team during the Cadiz City Council meeting Tuesday evening at 6:00.
