Hopkinsville Police Investigate Burglary And Theft

The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating some recent break-ins that occurred earlier this week.

According to a Hopkinsville police report, a Hopkinsville man told police someone broke into his business and took items.

70-year-old Miles Elliott of Miles Management reported someone broke into his business and took an XM radio and a checkbook sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday with a total stolen value of around $200.

Meanwhile, multiple tools were taken from a work site on North Campbell Street sometime between December 21st and Wednesday. Gary Cooper III reported that two chainsaws, two impact guns, electrical hand tools, and a saw taw were taken from locked bins owned by 5 Star Electric. The total estimated value items are listed at $2,400.

No suspects are listed on either report.
