One person was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of Lindwood Drive and McLean Avenue Wednesday afternoon.
Police report 62-year old Thelma Brown of Hopkinsville was stopped at the stop sign on Lindwood Drive when her car was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Jessica Lopez of Oak Grove. Lopez stated she was traveling behind the Brown’s car and began slowing down to come to a stop when she became distracted by her 5-year old daughter in the backseat, causing her to collide with the car.
Police say Brown complained of neck and back pain and was transported by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center to be evaluated.
