Updates on two holiday-themed events being held in December was the main topic of the bimonthly meeting for the Cadiz-Trigg County Tourist and Convention Commission Wednesday afternoon.
Cindy Sholar with Cadiz-Trigg County Tourism says they are working closely with the city to try and get a portion of Main Street closed before the annual Christmas Parade so Trigg County High School students can host a Disney themed Character Meet and Greet.
The annual Christmas Parade is scheduled for Saturday evening, December 1 at 6:00.
In other business, Sholar adds they continue to receive more interest for the annual Holiday Fine Arts and Crafts Show.
The Fine Arts and Crafts Show will take place from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, December 15 at the Lake Barkley State Resort Park Convention Center.
