A newly renovated bowling alley, which will offer more fun in the future, will be holding a soft opening at the former Indian Hill Bowling Center on Canton Street Friday.
Southern Lanes Marketing Director Demi Litten, the daughter of owner Donald Litten, says a soft opening is being held at 5:00 p.m. with more to come in December.
Right now, she says they do not have set hours because they are still in the process of hiring.
League play begins Friday evening 6:20 until 8:30. The first ever Cosmic Bowling at the Hopkinsville bowling alley will start shortly after league play.
Litten says Southern Lanes was established in 1984 in Bowling Green in a small facility, but they have expanded into a larger facility.
Southern Lanes is located 3001 Canton Pike in Hopkinsville.
