A Hopkinsville man has been arrested on a warrant in connection to an armed robbery that occurred on October 16.
According to the arrest warrant, 18-year old Trejan Hillsbury and a juvenile robbed a 13-year old victim after they pushed their way in a residence and held the victim in the living room, threatening to use a handgun he had in his pocket. Hillsbury then went around the house pulling out drawers and turning them over. Hillsbury and the juvenile reportedly took an Xbox and the victim’s backpack and when they left the home, they broke the screen door. The victim’s mother later realized the subjects had also taken $200 cash from her room.
Hillsbury was taken into custody in the area of Lewis Street and Hayes Street around 11:50 Thursday night. He was booked into the Christian County Jail charged with 2nd Degree Unlawful Transaction with a Juvenile, and 1st Degree Robbery.
