Christian County Fiscal Court magistrates approved a resolution Tuesday morning designating received TVA Funds to be handled by a committee to be used for economic development.
Judge-Executive Steve Tribble says the county will receive about $50,000 from TVA the first year and in a year a two it could be $100,000 and will be distributed by a committee.

In other business, magistrates approved a pay request of more than $167,300 for the Alhambra Theatre renovation. During an update on the project, Magistrate Darryl Gustafson says the completion date of November 3 has been pushed back because several unforeseen issues surfaced during the project.

Gustafson also provided an update on the Hopkinsville-Christian County Airport construction of new hangars, which he says should be complete in about two months.
