USO’s Holly Jolly Holiday program

Please join us Saturday, July 29 at 8 a.m. for a 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run to benefit the USO’s Holly Jolly Holiday program. Toys collected from the run will go to Military Families on Fort Campbell.
Kristi Murtha, Director of the Christian County Military Affairs Committee stated, “I have volunteered for the USO-Fort Campbell Christmas giveaway event for years and have seen the positive impact it has made for so many of our military families. Unfortunately, last year’s event had a shortage of gifts.  Our committee quickly realized that this was something we wanted to support. A Christmas in July themed Run is the perfect opportunity to get the donations started.”
Registration is free with an unwrapped toy or $15 that will be used to purchase toys. Participants can register the day of the event. Summer Santa and Rudolph will be in attendance so bring the entire family. All the festivities with the run starting and ending take place at the Oak Grove War Memorial Walking Trail located at 101 Walter Garrett Lane, Oak Grove, KY.
