THE BARN TEEN CLOTHING CLOSET GRAND OPENING AT THE WAY
CHIRSTIAN YOUTH CENTER
The Trigg County Chamber of Commerce is proud to host a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting for The
Barn Teen Clothing Closet to be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
The Barn Teen Clothing Closet is located at The Way Christian Youth Center in Cadiz at 197
Lafayette Street.
The Barn is a collaboration between Trigg County Public Schools and The Way Christian
Youth Center to provide clothing for teens. The Barn Teen Clothing Closet has been made possible through community partnerships and a GEER II Funding Grant awarded to the Horizon Youth Service Center.
The Barn is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. For more information, call

The Barn offers students the opportunity to bring up to 5 items of clothing (if the student has them)
and swap them for five different items. It is open to ALL Trigg County Middle and High School students.
All clothing is FREE. Students are just asked to bring items of clothing they no longer want to trade for
new. The Barn is being run FOR students BY students. With adult supervision, students are hosting
clothing drives, developing marketing plans, making social media posts to advertise to their peers, and
staffing The Barn on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The Barn, Trigg County Public Schools, The Way Christan Youth Center and The Trigg County
Chamber of Commerce invites everyone in the community to celebrate their Grand Opening and Ribbon
