Hopkinsville’s Holiday Decoration Award

The public is invited to nominate candidates for Hopkinsville’s Holiday Decoration Award. Recognition will be given in two categories: Best Decorated Residence will go to twelve private homes (one award per city ward) and Best Decorated Business will go to one business. Nominees will be judged on use of decorations, creativity and theme.
To enter or to nominate a home or business, phone in your nomination to Public Works at 270-890-0703, enter on the Hopkinsville Beautification Facebook page, or by entering on the city website at
hopkinsvilleky.us/services/beautification and using the form to enter. Entries must be received by 3:30 pm on December 15th, 2023. Homes and businesses will be judged the week of December 18th and announced on the Hopkinsville Beautification Facebook page on December 20th. Awards will be given to winners after announcement. Winners receive a certificate of recognition and will be featured in the media, Hopkinsville Beautification Facebook page, and the city website.
The goal of the Holiday Decorations Contest is to recognize the efforts of Hopkinsville residents and businesses that encourage community pride and holiday spirit.
