HCCPL-“The Restoration and Presrvation of Sivley Cemetery”

Special Guest Speaker Jeff Bender will present “The Restoration and Presrvation of Sivley Cemetery,” 5-6 p.m. Sept. 5 at Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library, 1101 Bethel St.
Sivley Cemetery is located off Canton Pike in Hopkinsville.
During the program, Bender will discuss the legal aspects of historic cemetery management, his experience with clean-up and preservation, and the techniques he used for family research.
Bender said his goal was to preserve the historical aspects of the cemetery and create a Sextons book for future family use.
