The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County, Visit Hopkinsville, and Milkweed Health & Harmony Emporium will celebrate the work of psychic Edgar Cayce on Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23, 2024. Join us downtown for a day full of activities that center around Edgar Cayce’s roots in Christian County and the major impact he continues to make throughout the world.
There are so many opportunities to enjoy! On Saturday, tour the Pennyroyal Area Museum and our permanent exhibit dedicated to Edgar Cayce, grab a Cayce-inspired snack, and pick up books and health products in The Vault by Planters Bank shop in our lobby. Build your own fairy garden kit and make a mandala craft (while supplies last) to take home. Take the Edgar Cayce Cell Phone Tour to travel to local sites and learn more about his life in Hopkinsville. The tour concludes at his gravesite in Riverside Cemetery.
In addition to our all-day offerings on Saturday, we will also have special programs over the weekend:
Friday, March 22:
5:30pm: Doors open and reception
6:00pm: “The Women of Edgar’s Cayce Family” with Grace Abernethy ($10)*
7:00pm: Viewing of The Beautiful Dreamer film
Saturday, March 23:
9:00am: Chakra Workshop with Tricia Ferrell ($10)*
10:00am: Morning Setting Up Exercises
10:30am: Outdoor Mural Painting with Cat Lacy (ongoing all day)
11:00am: Short Bus Tours to Beverly Academy with Brett Pritchett and William Turner
12:00pm: Mummy Food Demonstration and Tasting with Alissa Keller
1:00pm: Stones and Crystals presentation with Julie-Anna Carlisle at Milkweed Health & Harmony Emporium
2:00pm: Make Your Own Essential Oil Roller Bottles with Janet Bravard
3:00pm: Pit, popular card game invented by Cayce, tournament with Brett Pritchett
4:00pm: Guided Group Meditation & Labyrinth Walk
Break for Supper
6:00pm: “Two Voices, One Message: The Work of Edgar Cayce & bell hooks” with Alissa Keller ($10)*

Unless specified otherwise, all programs and activities are free to attend and will take place at the Pennyroyal Area Museum located at 217 East 9th Street in downtown Hopkinsville.
