New Year’s Day Hike

Join us for a New Year’s Day Hike on January 1, 2025 – 10am-11:30am on Hematite Trail. If you just wanted to start the year off outside this is a nice way to get 2025 going. Hematite Trail is one of the more popular trails in Land Between the Lakes. This trail is two miles and an easy hike, with a board walk along the way. We ask that if you are planning to participate make sure to dress for the weather. This is a family and pet friendly event. Those that participate will get a limited 2025 New Year’s Day Hike Sticker.
Hematite Trail is located near the Woodlands Nature Station, we will meet everyone at the trail head. If you have questions feel free to reach out through messenger or you can call 270-924-2013. In the event that there are poor road conditions due to ice or snow we will cancel the event.
