The Hopkinsville Community and Development Services will hold a public hearing on Monday concerning three zoning applications.
The first is a continuance of a hearing regarding a request by Heltsley Farms for three zoning requests of 366 acres of unzoned property at 3645 Russellville Road at the southwest corner of Dr. Martin Luther King Junior Way and Russellville Road.
Heltsley Farms is requesting 111 acres be zoned light industrial I-1, 241 acres be zoned Agricultural Transitional District AT-1, and 14 acres be zoned Arterial Commercial District B-4.
A second hearing concerns an amendment to the subdivision guidelines of Oak Grove that would replace the current ones on file.
A third hearing concerns amending zoning ordinances in Oak Grove to define cannabis businesses, establish standards for the siting and development of medical cannabis businesses, and amend the section dealing with which type of cannabis businesses are allowed.
The public hearings will begin on Monday at 6:00 at the Hopkinsville Municipal Building.
