A home on Greenville Road in Christian County was destroyed in a fire Tuesday morning.
Highland firefighters say they were called for a structure fire at the 4000 block of Greenville Road and found a home partially engulfed in flames.
The owner and his dog got out of the home uninjured.
Highland firefighters were assisted by Honey Grove, Lacy, and Westside fire departments. The cause of the fire was unknown.
