A man was charged after he fled from law enforcement on South Virginia Street in Hopkinsville Tuesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they attempted to stop a vehicle for an improper turn and license plate not illuminated near the intersection of East 2nd Street and the driver fled.
The pursuit ended when the car hit a street sign and a brick column at the Colonial Motel. Police say the driver fled on foot but was quickly apprehended.
The driver’s name and a full list of charges have not been released.
