H & R Agripower’s Wayne Hunt bid $10,000 to help a Kentucky 4-H Country Ham raise more than $20,500 at the Kentucky State Fair Commodity Breakfast Thursday, August 15th, to open the Kentucky State Fair.
In addition to Hunt’s $10,000 bid Farm Credit Mid-America’s Brandon Garnett, Kentucky Farm Bureau President Eddie Melton, and David Wallace with Heritage Bank each added $3,500 to raise $20,500 for Kentucky 4-H. Alan Watts visits with Hunt, Garnett, Wallace, and Melton about the ham auction and the donation.
