Child Flown To Hospital After Suffering Severe Head Injury

A Christian County child was flown to the hospital after suffering a severe head injury on Bradshaw-Fidelio Road Friday morning.

Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says they were called for a 3-year-old who fell around 10 steps and found the child to have a severe head injury.

A helicopter was called to the area of the new fire station on Walton Way and flew the child to a Nashville hospital.

The ambulance was assisted by The Christian County Sheriff’s Office, Pembroke Fire Department, Air Evac LifeTeam, and Oak Grove Fire Department.
