Attorneys Await Phone Records In McPherson Avenue Murder Case

Attorneys in the case of an Ohio man charged with the murder of a Hopkinsville man in February are waiting for phone records as they try and move the case forward.

During a Wednesday appearance in Christian County Circuit Court, the attorney for Kamron Snyder said the phone records should be in their hands before long.

click to download audioSnyder is charged with shooting 27-year-old Khalil Buckner, from a moving vehicle on McPherson Avenue in February. Snyder was located in Ohio several days later and extradited back to Kentucky.

He is charged with murder and lodged in the Christian County Jail on a $500,000 bond. His next court appearance was set for September 25.
