Funeral services for 73-year-old Alan Lacy, of Hopkinsville, will be noon Saturday at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until the funeral hour.
Survivors include:
His daughter, Jennifer Lacy Morgan, of South Milwaukee, Wisconsin;
His sister, Beth Lacy, of Hopkinsville;
And his five grandbabies, Dylan Morgan, Shelby Morgan, Clayton Morgan, Landyn Morgan, and Kaytlynn Morgan.
Robert Webb and Lee Webb are officiating.
He died Sunday, July 28, 2024 at his residence.
He was born in Clarksville, Tennessee, on April 12, 1951, the son of late William Ernest Lacy and Ruth Alan Hewell Lacy.
He was a veteran that proudly served in the United States Navy from 1971-1981, and he worked at Kroger for more than 42 years where he always greeted his customers, which he loved like family, with a smile.
He was a member of Little River Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children: Linda Donner Lacy; his precious son: Ryan Lacy; and his second wife, the love of his life: Gwyn G. Lacy.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Little River Church of Christ, The Wounded Warrior Project, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
