A Hopkinsville man was charged after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend on Charlie Court Friday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 30-year-old Michael Montgomery punched the woman in the face several times then fled from law enforcement and resisted being put in handcuffs.
He was arrested and charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police, fourth-degree assault dating violence, and resisting arrest.
