Motorcycle Crash In Princeton Claims Life Of 15-Month-Old Child

Police are investigating a motorcycle wreck in Princeton that claimed the life of a child Friday night.

Princeton Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison reported that the accident occurred around 6:45 p.m. near the 300 block of Beverly Lane. He said 47-year-old Joseph Traylor of Princeton was driving a motorcycle with a 15-month-old passenger when the motorcycle ran off the road and struck a telephone pole.

According to Allison, both Traylor and the child were transported by Caldwell County EMS to Caldwell Medical Center where the 15-month old was pronounced dead. Traylor was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

The name of the child has not been released by police.

The crash investigation is on-going.
