A Hopkinsville woman was charged with manslaughter on Tuesday after an investigation into an Elkton man’s death last month.
Todd County Sheriff’s deputies say they investigated the death of a 21-year-old man who was found to have died on June 18th from a fentanyl overdose, which was confirmed following an autopsy.
The investigation led to the arrest of 32-year-old Whitney Harper, who deputies said supplied the fentanyl to the victim.
She was charged with second-degree manslaughter.
The investigation was a joint effort by the Todd County Sheriff’s Office, the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force, and The Christian County Sheriff’s Office.
