Tamara Kaufmann, age 66, of Cadiz, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.
Born October 3, 1957, in La Crosse, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Roger and Elaine (Bohm) Kaufmann.
Tamara spent her early years in La Crosse where she worked as a bartender for 25 years. After moving to Trigg County, she continued to work as a clerk at Bev’s Market in Bumpus Mills. Tamara was a devoted mother, loving grandmother, and treasured sister. She was blessed with a green thumb and enjoyed gardening and raising chickens. An avid reader, Tamara was also an excellent cook. She loved her pets, her dog Sophie and her cat Karl, who were her constant companions.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Matthew Kaufmann and Rick Kaufmann.
She is survived by her daughter, Kaitlin Carlson, and son, Jonathan Carlson (Nicole), both of Cadiz; four grandchildren, Elizabeth, James, Elaine, and Edith Carlson; and three brothers, Mark Kaufmann (Paula), Chris Kaufmann, and Curt Kaufmann (Marla), all of La Crosse, WI.
