Traffic on Interstate 24 has returned to normal flow at the 35.5 mile point in Lyon County after traffic crashes left one lane closed on both the east and westbound sides of the interstate.

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District One Public Information Officer Keith Todd says two crashes at this site Sunday morning left one vehicle in the median and other vehicles scattered along the roadway, forcing eastbound and westbound traffic to be restricted to one lane.

Responders were able to clear the crash site while keeping one lane of traffic open in each direction. The crash site is cleared. All lanes are open.
