Gray Named South Christian Elementary School Principal

South Christian Elementary School’s Site-Based Decision Making Council met with Superintendent Chris Bentzel Wednesday, and after discussions unanimously affirmed Tiffany Gray as principal.

She most recently served as the school’s assistant principal.

A proud product of Christian County Public Schools, she began her career with CCPS as a substitute teacher and bus driver.

In 2007, after earning her degree, she began teaching fourth grade math at South Christian Elementary, before shifting to the school’s math interventionist. She has also worked as an instructional and behavior coach for three years before becoming an Education Administration Program Consultant I with the Kentucky Department of Education.

In 2019, she returned to CCPS, serving as assistant principal with Freedom before going back to South Christian.

In a written statement, Gray called South Christian “home,” and where he own children Kenady and Jaylen attended.

Gray holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, an endorsement in gifted and talented and earned her Rank 1 in administration from Murray State University. She and her husband, Bryan, reside in Hopkinsville.
