Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Charges In Hopkinsville

A Hopkinsville Man was charged with possession of drugs after a traffic stop on West 2nd Street Tuesday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Darian Scales for disregarding a stop sign and he tossed a marijuana blunt out the window.

After a search of the vehicle meth was reportedly located.

He was arrested and charged with disregarding a stop sign, possession of meth second offense, and tampering with physical evidence.
