Barbara Sue “Butch” Still Lancaster, age 81, of Hopkinsville, KY passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 1:00 PM with burial to follow in Gray Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Friday, May 31, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Lancaster was born on November 24, 1942, in Christian County, KY the daughter of the late Elwood Thomas Still and Evie Kathleen Killebrew. Barbara was retired from Western State Hospital where she worked as a seamstress and a member of New Ebenezer Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Wesley Lancaster; and her sisters, Mary Ann Jones of Christian County, and Janice Kay Stewart Halsey of Hopkinsville.
Survivors include her son, Tommy Lancaster (Lisa) of Hopkinsville, KY; her brother, David Elwood Still of Bowling Green; her grandchildren, Jared Lancaster (Molly) and Allison Lancaster; and her great-granddaughter, Harper Kate Lancaster.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Gray Cemetery, P.O. Box 977, Cadiz, KY 42211.
