A Clarksville woman was charged with taking money from her employer on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Hopkinsville Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 37-year-old Tiffany Baxter admitted to taking $1,347 from the register at Love’s Travel Stop to pay her medical bills.
She was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking. She was also found to have a warrant out of Virginia for being a fugitive from another state.
