The 2023-24 Christian County Leadership Program Celebrated Their Graduates

The 2023-2024 Christian County Leadership team consisted of 29 members, the biggest and most diverse class in the history of the program. The group was split into separate teams and each assigned a non-profit organization in Hopkinsville. They were tasked to find a need for their organization and present it to a panel of judges where they were scored. The winning team was offered $1,000 to be put towards their non-profit. This year’s winners and a representative from the non-profit talked more on their project at Ruff Park.

Each year the class votes on their speaker. This year’s speaker was Dr. Chris Boyett, he shared a little of what the team did and saw around Hopkinsville.

Overall the class was heavily involved in the construction of the new Alpha Pregnancy building providing the funds for a new group room. In the end they left $10,000 for future use. Alpha Board Member, Janie Corley, talks about the project and what it meant for the center.

The class leaders were thanked heavily for their leadership and commitment to helping each team member. Eric White was presented with the class voted Sherry Jeffers Spirt of Leadership Award. Congratulations to this year’s graduates!
