A Crofton woman was killed in a single-vehicle wreck on Madisonville Road in Christian County Friday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say an SUV driven by 22-year-old Katie Shelton was northbound when her vehicle ran off the road just past Substation Road and hit a tree.
Shelton was pronounced dead at the scene by the Christian County Coroner’s Office. The Christian County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Christian County Rescue, Hopkinsville EMS, Westside Fire Department, and the Christian County Coroner’s Office.
