A Hopkinsville woman reported an assault to law enforcement on South Clay Street Sunday night.
Hopkinsville Police say a man choked and bit a woman he was in a relationship with impeding her breathing and causing injuries to her face.
No arrest has been made but the report lists the charges as first-degree strangulation and fourth-degree assault.
