Jane Hendricks Stallons, 79, of Bowling Green

Funeral services for 79-year-old Jane Carol Hendricks Stallons of Bowling Green and formerly of Cadiz will be Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 3:00 pm at King’s Funeral Home in Cadiz with Dr. Tim Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Little River Cemetery in Trigg Co.  Visitation will be on Thursday, May 9, 2024, from noon until the service hour at 3:00 at King’s Funeral Home.

Jane Carol Hendricks Stallons born September 22, 1944, to parents Elmo R. and Myrtle Rhea Bridges Hendricks, passed away May 6, 2024, at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, Kentucky after a long, courageous fight with cancer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved son, Chris Lake Stallons, two dear sisters, Marion June Alcaraz and Connie Lane Hendricks, and two nephews, Benny Alcaraz, Jr. and Patrick Gabriel Alcaraz.

As a young adult, Jane attended Madisonville Vocational School after graduating from Trigg County High School in 1962.  After a long career working in many business areas, she retired on March 31, 2007, after 22 years of service at Ft. Campbell as the Non-Appropriated Funds Procurement Analyst/Purchase Card Program Coordinator for the Southeast Region Army NAF Contracting Office.

Jane was a member of Woodburn Baptist Church and the Faithful Friends Sunday School Class. She was active in church throughout her life serving in many children’s and youth ministries as well as participating in WMU and Choir.

She enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling, and most of all taking care of her family and friends and those in need as a member of Active Caring Trigg Samaritans and supporting other local charities.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter and son-in-law Jerri and Scott Turner of Bowling Green; her grandchildren, Julia Turner of Bowling Green, Justin and Shelby Turner of Bardstown, and Jordan Turner of Bowling Green; her brother W.C. Hendricks of Cadiz; sister and brother-in-law Peggy and Jerry David Futrell of Cadiz; her brother and sister-in-law Vernon and Suellen Hendricks of Cadiz, brother-in-law, Benny Alcaraz, Ely, NV, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
