As Kentucky State Police continues to obtain additional evidence in the homicide of a 93-year old Princeton woman, detectives are asking for the public’s help with the investigation.

Post 2 spokesman Trooper Ridge Porter says investigators are working diligently on the murder of Dorothy Sparks who was found deceased at her residence on South Jefferson Street one week ago. He says it was later determined that Sparks was the victim of a homicide.

As previously reported, Princeton firefighters were sent to the 11000 block of South Jefferson Street around 7:00 the night of April 18th for a house fire. When firefighters arrived they requested Caldwell County Sheriff Don Weedman to come to the scene, who requested Kentucky State Police to join the investigation.

Police ask if anyone was in the area of South Jefferson Street last Thursday, April 18th, and has any information about this case, to contact Kentucky State Police Post 2 at (270) 676-3313.
