Man Charged After Fleeing From Hopkinsville Police

A man was charged after he reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit in Christian County Wednesday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say they attempted to stop three motorcycles for speeding on Fort Campbell Boulevard and they fled at speeds of over 100mph and passed vehicles at a red light with one of them getting onto Interstate 24.

One motorcyclist 33-year-old Kales Howard reportedly stopped in Oak Grove in the area of Gate 5 and the third continued on into Tennessee.

Howard was arrested and charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, reckless driving, driving on a DUI-suspended license, and possession of marijuana.
