There will be no services for 73-year-old Gary Watkins Manning, Sr., of Hopkinsville.
The family has chosen cremation and welcomes family and friends to stop by the home to pay their respects at any time.
Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include:
His wife of 55 years, Doris R. Manning, of Hopkinsville;
His son, Gary W. Manning, Jr., of Hopkinsville;
His daughters, LaTessa R. Smith, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, LaRayna C. Manning-Perez, of Hopkinsville;
His aunt and uncle, Elenora and Buddy Moore, of Washington, DC;
His sister-in-law, Carolyn Cason Parker, of Charles County, Maryland;
His cousin, Angela Cooper, of Maryland;
His 13 grandchildren and his 19 great-grandchildren.
He died Thursday, April 4, 2024, at this home of natural causes.
He was born December 9, 1950, in Manning, South Carolina, the son of Charles Mellerson and Dorothy Manning.
He served our country for 10 years before starting W.M. Cleaning Co., a residential and commercial cleaning company.
He was a strong faith believer and a member of the Masonic Ore of the Free Masons. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Manning.
