Clarksville Man Charged With Third DUI In Hopkinsville

A Clarksville man was charged with his third DUI during a traffic stop on South Virginia Street in Hopkinsville Saturday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a vehicle driven by 43-year-old Corey Middleton after he was seen having problems maintaining his lane.

During the stop, officers could reportedly smell the odor of marijuana and alcohol coming from him and his vehicle and he admitted to smoking marijuana and drinking before driving.

A juvenile was in the vehicle at the time of the traffic stop. Middleton was arrested and charged with DUI third offense, first-degree wanton endangerment, driving on a DUI suspended license third offense, and possession of marijuana.
