The Hopkinsville Police Department welcomed a new officer into its fold this week.
The department said that Officer Chris Little recently graduated from the Basic Training Academy in Richmond with the Department of Criminal Justice and Training. Officer Little will undergo an eight-week training period with a Police Training Officer to further enhance his skills and community relationships.
Upon successful completion of this training, he will begin solo patrols.
