Gail Gee, age 61, of Lafayette, KY, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. Funeral Services will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 1 PM with burial to follow in Powell Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home from 11 AM until 1 PM on Thursday, March 7, 2024. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Gee was born on November 13, 1962, in Hopkinsville, KY, the daughter of the late James Larry and Carolyn Waldrop Mathis. Glenda was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Dale Mathis Sr. and James “Jimbo” Mathis.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Lawrence Gee of Lafayette, KY; her son, Chris Gee (Kami) of Lafayette, KY; her daughter, Jamie Hancock (Thomas) of Lafayette, KY; her brother, Terry Mathis (Barbara) of Hopkinsville, KY; her sister, Ann Smith of Lafayette, KY; her grandchildren twelve grandchildren; and her seventeen great-grandchildren.
