Trigg County Solar Farm Ordinance Passes First Reading

Trigg County is looking to ensure all residents have equal protections as solar power continues to grow in the region. During Tuesday night’s Fiscal Court meeting, Judge Executive Stan Humphries went over the proposed Solar Ordinance.

click to download audioMagistrate Mike Lane moved to approve the first reading of the ordinance and Wright seconded. The motion passed unanimously. Humphries says the full ordinance will be available to the public through his office. The second reading is planned for March 18th.

In other business, Fiscal Court approved requesting proposals for a new rescue building. Humphries says it has been a long-time discussion.
